Such is the case of mister Julio Rivera Flores, one of the founders of the metal structures industry in Guatemala, with ARCHITECTURAL STEEL / Ferrous Group, a company that through the years has undergone a consistent and complete transformation in its organization, as well as its operations and productivity.

The origin of this company in Guatemala dates back many years ago when Don Julio Rivera Flores, being employee of another company, gained independence, set to open his own workshop, with the manufacturing of doors, windows, railings and balconies.

With the further concerns of a second generation of business leaders, his son Julio Rivera opened the barriers to new production lines, making possible the of their operations growth; the small shop, was renamed in 1962, onto the well known and established ACEROS ARQUITECTONICOS - GRUPO FERROSO, S.A.
